About me

Hi, I'm Sturmbart.I love to paint anything related to fantasy, especially Warcraft-themed. And I have a certain interest for Orcs, who could tell.I've been drawing my whole life.
2019, I started my journey to actually do commission work for people other than my friends, guildmates and family.If you are looking for information about a commission work from me, you're at the right place! Here, you can find anything you need to know.

Commissions: OPEN

General Info

  • Full payment before i start sketching via PayPal USD (with an extra fees for taxes). No refund after the commission is fully completed. Refunds can ONLY be made during the commission process.

  • I work on a first come, first served basis, but I don't accept every commission. I have my rights to decline a commission

  • I have the artistic freedom to draw in my style. Please do not ask me to draw artwork in another artist’s style.

  • You must provide clear, visual references. They can be from anywhere(e.g. Google, Games, etc).

  • The selling, redistributing, tracing, and/or claiming ownership of the actual drawing and not the character itself is a violation of my terms of service.

  • Reposting your commission is acceptable only if I am properly credited. (e.g. linking my carrd, tagging me in posts, or properly being referenced.)

Terms of Service

When ordering a commission, everyone is required to follow the guidelines below. Failure to do so will result in the commission being cancelled.
Please note that any statement below is bound to change if discussed by me, the artist, prior to the commission.
By reading and agreeing with the terms of service, you are acknowledging the terms for your commission.
These will be referred to in the case of a dispute.

I. Ordering

What I will do:

  • Humanoid (male, female, android, etc.)

  • original character

  • fan art

  • armor and weapons

  • anything i'm comfortable with

What I will not do:

  • Nsfw

  • furry

  • gore

  • mecha (gundam, etc)

WIP/Revision:

  • I will give wip each time a stage is finished (concept - lineart - coloring - finishing)

  • I will give multiple concepts if possible

  • minor changes before I start coloring like accessories, bg, etc will be free of charge

  • major changes after confirming the initial concept will be charged with extra fees (like pose,entire clothing, etc)

  • after coloring, I only accept minor color changes (I will not accept accessories revision, clothing revision, etc). I will not accept major color change too.

  • Major changes such as entire outfits, poses, full backgrounds, will require a revision fee based on the time it takes for the revision to be made.

II. Payment

  • Only accepting PayPal (USD)

  • After the commission request is confirmed and the payment has been sent, I will start sketching.

  • I will not accept any payments before I have approved your commission. Any payments sent before the approval status will be immediately refunded and the commission declined.

  • Any commission over $200 can be paid half upfront and half after the commission is done.This must be discussed beforehand with my approval to avoid any confusion.

Refunds/Chargeback

  • Refunds are only possible during the process of the commission. Not after the final product is sent to the commissioner. If you need your money back contact me immediately!

  • The commissioner does not hold any rights to use any WIPs created from cancelled commissions.

  • If you file a chargeback against me, your right to everything I have ever made for you will be retracted.

  • I have every right to file a complaint and I have all the right to the money given to me for the finished product.

III. Commission process

  • "First come, first served". If my commission queue is long, your commission will take longer to be completed.

  • Depending on the amount of commissions I have to do and other factors such as my health, family, living conditions, and complexity of your commission, it will take time.

  • I usually don't spend more than 2 weeks on a commission but depending on the circumstances above it can take longer.

  • Regular updates will be given to ensure progress being made on your commission.

  • Your commission will be sent as a full resolution digital file to your email and/or DM.

IV. Copyright and usage policy

The customer is allowed to

  • Use the copyrighted artwork for personal use only unless agreed otherwise

  • Print the art

  • Claim the right of their character(s) but not the drawing itself

  • Publicly post the artwork online/offline with proper credit given to the artist as mentioned in the general terms.

As the artist, I am allowed to

  • Hold every right to the produced drawing, but not the character(s)

  • Use the copyrighted artwork to promote myself online

  • Publish books with it

  • Display it anywhere to my liking

Copyright infringement

  • Reproducing, distribution, and/or using the copyrighted artwork commercially without first agreeing to it with I, the artist (Meaning making money off of it in any way without it first being agreed upon)

  • Taking credit for the creation of the artwork/No proper credit of said work when reposted

  • Removing any watermarks/signatures from my WIPs and using them

  • Altering the artwork without my, the artist´s, consent

  • If you break the copyright infringement in any way, every right you had to the drawing will be retracted and you will be forbidden to commission me again. A warning will also be sent out to others.

Bust shot - $50

Half-body - $60

Full-body - $70

Extra fees for:

  • making major changes after the confirmed concept / lineart.

  • Estimated time of arrival by a certain date (rush fee)

  • Lots of details such as very long hair, frills, accessories, or objects not already included in the initial commission

  • This will be determined as a case by case basis, but the range is usually between $5-$15 and will be discussed prior to the commission.
